Pinochle
A two-player trick-taking card table against Ada, with dealt melds, trump and twelve tricks.

The rules
- Uses a 48-card pack containing two copies of nine through ace in each suit; each player receives twelve cards.
- The next card names trump. This table has no auction and no stock.
- Follow suit when possible; otherwise play trump if held. The highest trump, or highest card of the led suit, wins.
- Cards rank ace, ten, king, queen, jack, nine. Captured aces score 11, tens 10, kings 4, queens 3 and jacks 2; the last trick adds 10.
- A king and queen score 20 in an ordinary suit or 40 in trump; the jack of spades with queen of diamonds scores 40.
